Reviewed before class
We review relevant age, health, vaccination, temperament, and suitability information before a puppy participates.
Puppies come from carefully screened, responsible breeder partners and participate in Puppy & Flow experiences for safe, supervised socialization. Every experience is structured around their health, comfort, and individual needs.

Where our puppies come from
We work with carefully screened, responsible breeder partners who raise and care for the puppies before and after class. The puppies remain under their caregivers’ responsibility throughout the experience; Puppy & Flow provides the controlled class environment, trained staff, guest structure, and welfare procedures.
Before puppies participate, we review relevant information about their age, health, vaccination status, temperament, and suitability for a supervised group setting. This continuity helps us understand their backgrounds and plan around their individual needs.
We do not knowingly work with puppy mills or accept puppies without first confirming that they are healthy and appropriate for the experience.
How we protect the puppies
The experience is structured around living animals with individual needs—not around guaranteeing constant interaction for every guest.
We review relevant age, health, vaccination, temperament, and suitability information before a puppy participates.
Our team and the puppies’ caregivers monitor the room, guide guests, and respond to each puppy’s behavior.
Puppies receive breaks and can sleep, drink water, or disengage in a separate resting area whenever they need it.
Puppies are never required to interact continuously. A guest’s desire to play never comes before a puppy’s comfort.
If a puppy appears tired, overstimulated, uncomfortable, or stressed, their participation is paused immediately.
Class size, experience length, guest handling, equipment, and sanitation are intentionally managed around the puppies.
What we require from partners
A relationship alone is not enough. If the information or conditions below are not available, or a puppy is not suited to the environment that day, the puppy does not participate.
The caregiver must provide relevant background, age, health, and vaccination information before participation.
Puppies showing signs of illness, injury, significant stress, or unsuitable temperament do not participate.
The breeder partner remains responsible for the puppies and their health, placement, and care before and after class.
Arrival, transportation, supervision, hydration, breaks, and departure must be planned around the puppies' needs.

Health and sanitation procedures
Screening and supervision work together with practical room, equipment, guest, and rest-space procedures. A puppy’s needs can change the plan at any time.
Relevant age, vaccination, health, temperament, and suitability information is reviewed before participation. A puppy showing signs of illness, injury, or significant stress does not participate.
Class floors, shared equipment, rest areas, and puppy supplies are prepared for the session, and accidents are addressed promptly with appropriate cleaning and sanitation procedures.
Guests receive handling guidance, personal belongings stay out of puppy paths, and outside pets do not join the shared class environment.
Puppies have access to water and a separate resting area. Participation pauses whenever a puppy needs sleep, space, or a lower-stimulation environment.

Why puppies participate
Our classes are designed to provide carefully managed, age-appropriate exposure to everyday people, movements, sounds, and surfaces. These experiences can help puppies become more comfortable and adaptable as they prepare to join permanent homes.
We never claim that every interaction automatically benefits every puppy. Each puppy’s behavior and comfort are monitored, and their needs determine whether interaction continues.
